The Swiss Again

One of the really kickass things about being a fighter pilot is some of the cool places you get to fly through and the amazing things you see when doing it. Plenty of these things can never be experienced by anyone other than a fighter pilot. Because of the aircraft they fly and the agility of the machine they can safely fly over some of the most inhospitable terrain. They can fly through the narrowest of valleys, past the highest mountain peaks and through the most majestic scenery anywhere on the face of the earth, unless it happens to be in some restricted area. In which case they still can but there may be consequences . . . if they get caught.
You might say some Alaska bush pilot can do all that but not at the altitudes and speeds of a fighter. Plus, the fighter pilot isn’t paying for his gas. That kicksass and makes the view even better.
Here the Swiss are at it again; putting together a cool video. An older fighter platform here but the sensation is the same and although this video gives you an idea of the fun of flying a fighter jet through this kind of terrain, it’s just not the same as doing it. For example, watch the climb here up the face of the Matterhorn. No bush pilot, airline pilot or corporate pilot is going to get to experience that, unless they did it in a former life, as fighter pilot.
The music sort of grows on you. Starts with a rather strange Latin, monasterial chant but slowly builds to some rather kickass soft rock stuff. Like I said, the lyrics are Latin and just to help you out I've interpreted just a bit for you. Here's the essence of it. "Flying fighters kicksass, it kicksass, yes, it really kickass ass."
