The Press Has Run Amuk

The U.S. was founded on many principles that have set us apart from other nations throughout history. The great things about our system are too numerous to cover in 30 articles so I’m going to address one that I feel is at the top of the list. It is no understatement that “the pen is mightier than the sword”. Our strength lies in the openness of our country and in our ability to tell the news as it is without fear of reprisal. We have the ability, right, and obligation to express our opinions and observations without wondering which agency is going to show up on our doorstep to pull our fingernails out during a reeducation process.
With this right comes responsibility. If our news conglomerates go unchecked in their reporting we lose this freedom. When I say unchecked I mean that we as citizens need to be educated enough to report to each other and ourselves that the press is full of shit when that is the case. We have a duty to call people out when they are biased in their views to get a cause or a politician placed in office. Furthermore, if one of our politicians were to exile a reporter because they don’t like the way they are reporting, you better watch out for your bill of rights. That kind of “superiority” is what our forefathers called bullshit on a few hundred years ago when they felt they had no say and no opportunity in the old world and CHANGE of that type in today’s society is far from the CHANGE we need!
I have criticisms for both of our illustrious political parties. I find myself becoming an independent more and more each day as neither party has the intelligence or moral character to really do what is right for our country. We tax too high and spend too much and our political friends in Washington keep acting like pedophiles in a daycare center with no other adults to chain them up. We need someone to report that daily.
I propose that our press needs to go after our politicians each day on this issue. Can you imagine the accountability if you had the access each day to a segment on a popular TV show which in 15 minutes broke down for us what colossal loser put special interests above the good of the country by name. If we, in our busy schedules, could sit down in the evening and have a good reporter fill us in on the riders to the current bills and how they are fleecing our tax dollars and which dipshit put his name on it, we could possibly put these hacks back into whatever useless life they probably had before they decided to become a part of our demise.
This is one of the top three issues in our lifetime. We have to get accountability for our leaders. Bill O’Rielly, I believe, truly does look out for us. You may not like the way he does it, but he is definitely not afraid to go after the bad guys. I think he’s the man for this job and I also believe his ratings would go through the roof with this segment because after all, he is in business and needs to make a buck. Simple, easy to understand reporting on the lies and corruption that take our tax dollars to the proverbial political whorehouse year after year would keep these rascals in check. Respectfully, I ask for his help concerning this issue.
In conclusion, I don’t think this is going to happen. Not only do we not get the news anymore due to our “reporter’s” bias. We have politicians that believe that they have the right to throw anyone off of the bus (literally) if they don’t like what is being reported about them. That is the beginning of the end for our society. You liberals out there should really be screaming at the audacity of this road act. The ACLU and New York Times crowd wrap themselves up in the constitution daily to make us think that they are protecting our rights with their “version” of the first amendment when the truth of the matter is that they won’t report anything that is in contradiction of their real goal to establish their candidate and their agenda into American society at large. If you don’t believe me just ask yourself when was the last time the ACLU tried to protect in any way, shape or form our SECOND amendment rights. The folks in that crowd better watch out; when it all comes down, the new political crowd installed by the American Politburo may not like what their “one version” press is reporting and then take over completely so that the “story” is accurate for the cause. Maybe Hitler is still alive.
Help us out Bill. Take them to task. You may not have the opportunity for long.
