Fox 1 In The Face

Fox 1 in the Face became a classic in every squadron I was in after the “Hooters” and I adapted a version in 1987 for the 67th TFS (Fighting Cocks at Night).  I made a trip back to Kadena in 1996 and went to the Zipper (67th bar) where “all the Cocks hang out” and heard them still singing Fox 1 in the Face 15 years after we wrote it in the Hooter Hooch.  It’s a song that’s timeless and became a trademark for the Fighting Cocks.

OBTW: Gopher is pictured under the owl that was from the original Night Owls.  Gopher was killed in a F-4 mid-air at George AFB in 1990.  This song will be forever dedicated to the memory of a great fighter pilot and friend, Gopher.  Here’s a nickel on the grass for you amigo.
