Bring on the Cat

Bring on the Cat
509 TFS
The liquor was spilled oln the barroom floor
And the bar was closing for the night
When out of his hole came a little brown mouse,
And sat in the pale moon light.
He lapped up the liquor on the barroom floor,
And back on his haunches he sat.
And all night long you could hear him roar,
BRING ON THE GODDAMMED CAT!

From Slats:If my memory serves me correctly, there was another verse to the end of this song that went something like this:
Well, the cat came out about a quarter past twelve,
and ate up the little brown mouse.
And the moral of the story is plain to see,
Never take a drink on the house.

This song was sort of a theme song for the 91st TFS at RAF Bentwaters in the '57-'60 timeframe.Mort Mumma, aka "1903"
