Proud Fighter Pilots
Fighter pilots are always proud that they are a fighter pilot. They are proud of the missions flown, the dangerous deeds accomplished and the opportunity to serve their country. They are subtle about their patriotism and their pride. No matter how old a fighter pilot gets you can see that pride in their faint smile. You can see in that smile confidence and satisfaction. In that smile you can tell that an old fighter pilot knows that he has accomplished things that most people can’t even dream of achieving. An old fighter pilot’s smile is one of coolness, self-assurance and a poise of superiority. Yes, once a fighter pilot, always a fighter pilot and once a fighter pilot’s days are done, there will still be that smile.
