There songs that bring back memories. When I was surfing for some AC/DC stuff for the blog, I stumbled upon this Hells Bells video from AC/DC. It's some great flying combined with awesome Rock and Roll. For me, this song reminds me of standing on the quadrangle at The Citadels about 33 years ago. The upperclassman used this song playing over the loud speakers as the fourth class system was put in effect. Hell night for us started in silence on the quadrangle as echo taps was being played from the parade ground, the iron sally port gates being closed, and some clown playing home sweet home on a hirmonica. Then shit really hit the fan when Hells Bells was blasted over the loud spreakers. I know, all you zoomies are asking the question--"And you paid for that Jolly?" Well yes I did, and it was worth every penny!

Communism verses Freedom?

Hey, the cold war is over and communism is dead right? I might buy the first part of that statement, but as far as I can see communism is alive and well right here in the good old USA. If we run a comparison of communism verses freedom, I think most intelligent folks out there would choose freedom. Our left leaning media and friends in the East like to compare communism to capitalism, which I think capitalism wins hands down too. But I feel that comparison puts the focus on our economies verses our way of life. I mean if you’ve been to China lately you might think that communism is not such a bad thing, but we tend to forget that 50 million Chinese were murdered under the tyranny imposed by a hostile communist take over.

When I posted that Flanker video made by someone from the Mother Russia, it was humorous that it’s producer pointed out that the Flanker would end the spread of American Tyranny throughout the globe. We can argue about our foreign policy for sure and perhaps a need to move toward less intervention overseas, but to call it American tyranny is beyond hypocritical when compared to our compassionate communists friends. However, I think most Americans are a bit tired of trying to solve the world’s problems and force our way of life on cultures that will never understand the concept of freedom.

We have enough of our own problems to solve right here in the good old USA (like our immigration fiasco and money supply gone wild) and I think it’s time to focus on that as opposed to bailing out the rest of the world from assholes who are in charge. Our policy of spreading global democracy is just not working, what’s more people tend to forget we live in a Republic not a Democracy. So why the hell are we trying to spread Democracy if that’s the case---I’m confused. If you recall history, when Benjamin Franklin was asked by the people what form of government we had he said, “A Republic if you can keep it.”

The question is can we keep it? It’s a scary question with the losers we’ve elected to public office in the house, senate, and executive branch (from both parties). The “Great Society” agenda has been crammed down our throats since FDR, but never as aggressive as it has in the past two years. We need to fire all the bums and get back to our roots. The constitution is a timeless document written by some pretty smart guys, let that be our guide back to freedom and the Republic our founders gave us.

If you’re still not sure that Freedom is the answer let’s make some comparisons. The East has the Trololo Guy and the Flanker, and the West has the AC/DC and the Raptor. Is there really a question? I’m not even going to throw in the babe comparison, that would really muddy the waters. I’m just saying, Russian women are pretty hot!

Have your ever had an orgasm over a double rainbow? WTFO! I guess if a fighter pilot were making this video and substituted Double D's for the Double Rainbow, you might just get the same reaction. "Wow,that's a full D all the way, OMG it's a double D, Wow, Wow, OMG, OMG, OMG, Wooohhh, Yeaaaa!" I know I'd be done at that point. What does this mean?

Robin Old’s was the ultimate fighter pilot. This clip from the history channel verifies he's an FU Badass. He manages to down two German 109’s (out numbered 25 to 1), not hit the ground in a high speed dive, then overshoot a third 109 and splash three in one day. The grin on his face as he describes the engagement says it all!

Flanker Stuff

Here's a very cool video featuring lots-o-Flankers. There's even a couple of F-15Eski and F-111skis in the video, whoda thunk it. I have to admit, it is a pretty cool looking jet. We put all things this cool in our virtual classroom at FU. Even when it's produced by some Red from the "Motherland."

There's some good propaganda in the video that I’m sure most of you will enjoy. Comments like “Sukhoi will be the one to bring American Tyranny to an end.” Just to clarify your point Boris—Do you mean the tyranny that freed Europe from Hitler and then sat back and watched Stalin murder 20,000,000 civilians (that's 20 million Red dude)? Or maybe you mean the American tyranny that supplied the soviet armed forces with weapons during WW II so you could survive the onslaught of Germany, move into northern Asia, and then hand those arms over to the communist Chinese so they could murder 50,000,000 of their own people?

Maybe we should have let our Tyrannical General Patton roll through Eastern Europe, exterminate a few million communist from the planet, and netted a savings of 67,000,000 innocent civilians in Russia and China. I’m just saying, while we are keeping it real let’s get the facts right. Bottom line, Communism still sucks and MiGs/Suckhoiya’s were born to die!

Caveman Fighter Pilot

Where did the fighter pilot come from? It’s a question that comes up often from our students here at Fighter Pilot University. Although the airplane did not come into it's own until Orville and Wilber, the fighter pilot attitude goes back to the beginning of time.

I was brought up by a bunch of Vietnam era guys who always said, "being a fighter pilot is an attitude, not an AFSC." AFSC stands for Air Force Specialty Code. It took some time to understand the meaning of that statement, but all fighter pilots’ I know understand exactly what that means.

Does that mean a caveman could have been a fighter pilot? Well, yes little Johnny I think it does. Enough pontificating, let's turn to our FU video library to prove our point.

This short film was produced by Joe Shit the Ragman while on walk about in Australia. Joe was searching for the origins of the fighter pilot attitude. I think it's safe to say he found it. Roll the tape Joe.

Here's another classic from Bellmouth and the Intakes. Rocky brought this song to Taegu from his days with the Juvat Boys Choir (Back when the Wolf Pack flew F-4D's). This song was black balled by the shoe clerks at Kunsan and the Juvats were not allowed to sing it. We just never had that problem at The Gu.
