Communism Dead?

hammer-and-cycle.jpg

I put this out a few years ago, but it's still very appropriate. Bottom line, Jane's still a traitor and communism has never really died.  It’s just got new names.  Sometimes it's called Collectivism, Socialism, or Progressivism.  The latest code words we hear are "fairness and wealth redistribution."  After all, everyone's entitled to the same standard of living as those who bust there rears and succeed through hard work. Read the bottom part of the article from our own congress drafted in 1963 concerning the goals of communism and how it would go about destroying America.  It's amazing how many of those things have happened in the last 50 years.  Anyone who considers himself or herself an American and supports these goals is guilty of betraying our founding principles and promoting an UN-American agenda. Speaking of UN-American, check out the list of congressmen who are also members of "The American Socialist Party."  I'll also include a video at the end of the article by Ed Griffin who helps define Collectivism.  Break out your F-Communism flip up collars boys and girls, the fights still on!

Is Communism Dead and Hanoi Jane not a traitor?

I remember when I first entered the Air Force in 1981.  We were at the height of the cold war, we had aircraft on nuke alert around the entire planet, and if stationed in places like Korea you were in a combat zone.  In 1981 we were still licking our wounds after losing the Vietnam War at home thanks to traitors like Jane Fonda.  It was commonplace to see Hanoi Jane Urinal stickers in the squadron head and every fighter jock had “F—k Communism” embroidered under the collars of their flight suit.  We had Ronnie Reagan in the white house, plenty of JP-4 to burn for training, jets were finally getting fixed after the Carter fiasco (side bar---did that loser really graduate from the Naval Academy), and we had strippers in the Officer Club on a Friday night.  Times were pretty damn good you might say and we understood two very important points:

1)  Communism Sucks
2)  Fighter Pilots piss on traitors

I was brought up to believe by my parents and a lot of great fighter pilots who taught me to fly, that communism was the enemy and it was the epitome of evil.  Today of course communism is dead, we don’t have any significant military threat around the globe, and we have embraced our own form of socialism right here in the good old USA.  I guess we were wrong, and the liberals and lefty’s had it right.  Or did they?

I was surfing the net and found this e-mail exchange on a web site for the 1st Calvlery (www.1stcavmedic.com).  The e-mail I read was from one of the educated liberals who made some points about how socialism/communism is not such a bad thing and folks like Jane Fonda have been unfairly labled as traitors.  Here’s an excerpt from an e-mail sent to the 1st Cav website:

“Yes, Fonda is a socialist. What a terribly dirty word! It's a good job it didn't get out very overtly at the time or dimwits like you who couldn't pick up this glaringly obvious fact already would have a good label to tar her with just like McCarthy did. I wonder, John, whether you have the foggiest idea about what beliefs are encompassed by the term socialism that you use as such a terrible insult. How about caring for those less fortunate than yourself, trying to give everyone in society equal opportunities to achieve in life, making health and education available to all and giving all members of society equal rights. That is what socialism is. “

I guess this guy has some valid points right?  After all, we've done all that right here in America for the 47% who pay no tax.  Being a socialist doesn’t make you a communist I guess.  Unless of course those that call themselves socialists are trying to hide the fact that they are really rotten pinko commies.  After all, the great communist societies of the world have brought us peace and prosperity.  Here are some examples of domestic democide by Communist regimes committed over the past 80 years.  (Democide: The murder of any person or people by a government, including genocide, politicide, and mass murder.)

U.S.S.R from 1917 to 1987, 54,769,000 were murdered
P.R.C. (China) from 1949 to today, 35,236,000 were murdered
Khmer Rouge from  1975 to 1979, 2,000,000 were murdered
North Korea from 1948 to today, 1,293,000 were murdered
Vietnam from 1945 to 1987, 944,000 were murdered

So, I guess those crazy communist are just plain old folks like us and just ain’t all that bad after all.  People like Jane Fonda are just misunderstood and want only what’s best for our country.  Standby, I have to puke after writing that.

The facts are clear, people who aid and comfort our enemies are traitors---period, dot, end of statement!  Hanoi Jane was and remains a traitor to this day.  Jane Fonda fans tried to tell us that she apologized for her actions and they happened so far in the past that we should give it up.  Unfortunately, that is not so.  The inconvenient truth is that:

1. Jane Fonda never apologized for getting on Hanoi radio and broadcasting that all American servicemen are ‘War Criminals’.  She actively continued to work with groups and individuals that continued to spread that libel for years afterwards.

2. Jane Fonda actively supports her friends like Jodie Evans and groups like Code Pink which call our current Iraq and Afghanistan veterans War Criminals and Baby Killers.

3. Some of those groups actively support the enemy. Code Pink, in particular, raised $600,000 dollars which they gave to the terrorists who fought our troops in Fallujah, Iraq, while at the same time those terrorists were torturing and murdering innocent civilians and fighting our military.  $600,000 buys a lot of ammunition.

While American Soldiers were fighting and dying in the Vietnam War, Jane Fonda was using her money and influence at colleges and universities to gather support to advocate communism and encourage rebellion and anarchy against the United States Government.

On November 21, 1970 Jane Fonda told a University of Michigan audience of some two thousand students, "If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist." At Duke University in North Carolina she repeated what she had said in Michigan, adding "I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism. " Washington Times July 7, 2000

Bottom line, keep on wizzing boys and girls---she’s still a dirty rotten pinko commie traitor.  I guess it’s really an insignificant point now that communism is dead and we won.  Or did we?

I’m not a big conspiracy theory dude, but I’ll leave you with this scary thought.  Read the following from the US Congressional record written in January 1963 on the “Goals of Communism.”  After reading it, you decide if communism is no longer the enemy.  As for me, Communism still sucks and pardon me while I relieve myself!

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS (1963)
Congressional Record--Apprendix, pp A34-A35
January 10, 1963

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a
demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Here's a great video by Ed Griffin who defines collectivism.  He is the Author of The Creature from Jekyll Island.  It's on our must read list here at Fighter Pilot University.  If you want to see how the dollar has been systematically destroyed by a bunch of unelected bankers, you've got to read his book.  There's a reason Thomas Jefferson said a Central Bank is larger threat to our Nation than a standing Army.

I have a bumper sticker on the rear window of my American-made Ford

To Kosovo: You probably ought to take up your Balkan grievances with Bill
Clinton and the UN. None of us wanted to participate in that shit hole nor
did most of us have a clue what we were trying to accomplish. All I know is
my first three trips were characterized by ROE which allowed your buddies
to shoot at us but the UN would not allow us to shoot back. I did eat some
damned fine calzone pizza in Aviano though.

I get funny looks when I tell people that I think Senator Joseph McCarthy was right. They showed their most effective weapon back then, one they still use, do not refute (how can you argue with the truth), spear and discredit the person and accuse the other side of what they are in fact doing.
This is especially scary in that they have succeeded in so many areas.

Confirm that you intend to piss on fellow citizens for their quintessentially American desire to hold their own political views? I'm all about reminding people what evil communism and fascism were, but this post is too much.

Maestro,

I have no problem with others right to have their own political views. Hell, I've got friends and family who consider themselves "Liberal." Being liberal does not make you a socialist. It just seems that it's become acceptable in our country to elect representatives who are self proclaimed Socialists.

If I piss off that group of "fellow citizens" then so be it. Over the top? Maybe, but the facts are the facts. Was it a typo or did you mean to say:

"What evil Communism and Fascism were"

"Were" to me means "NO MORE." That was the point of the entire article, the ideals of communism are alive and well, they never died and just exist under new labels.

Disregard my second identical post.

Good point about the term "liberal" not meaning socialist. I think we sometimes loose important distinctions when we over-simplify. The founders were "liberals" in their day.

Of course communism never died. If you don't think there will always be a faction of people who just want to simplify their lives and hand over control to some form of care-taker government you haven't been paying attention. At the same time, there will always be many on the government who want to amass centralized power because they're convinced the world would run better if they just had in their way. Communism / Socialism can cater to that because it pulls out all the stops for central control. That is not a new problem and Marx wasn't the first to try to solve it with a political system. The failure of the penultimate Soviet doesn't mean someone won't try it again. It is the false allure of an easier life for those who want the government to give them what they do not have and the allure of despotic power for the powerful.

I doubt were really in much disagreement. I just believe in everyone's right to be wrong. (I'm not condoning Fonda, I think she broke laws and should have been tried...then again Nixon did too.) I know communism isn't dead, but it persists for the same reasons it always has. There will always be people who see centralized control as the instrument of their salvation. To them, if they could just hand the government a little more power, they could finally expunge the elements of society that keep holding things back; like discrimination, poor education, poverty in general, healthcare, etc. They're wrong because what they're really trying to do is to make life "good" and "fair," but life is fundamentally difficult and unfair. The issue I have is that there are things that government can uniquely do to improve the public welfare, and implying that any centralized effort is the road to socialism is equally wrong. I want a school system that makes an educated society. I do want some regulation for environmental protection to blunt a return to the abysmal pollution in the industrial centers of the late 1800's. I do want to provide some kind of security for citizens who are in a bad way with health and or old age.

So where is the tipping point? Where do you move from altruistic concern for your fellow man to being a pinko commy? I'm really not trying to throw this back at you, I'm saying that its a big topic and needs to be handled with a little bit more rigor than just "fuck commies."

I think the only way to stop a free society from sliding into despotism (by a dictator or a communist) is a vigorous defense of the Constitution. The reason is because the Constitution is the document that grounds us as a Republic (not a democracy) where the popular passions for an easier life are subordinate to the law which restricts the power of the government to specific areas. There will be times where it will just seem easier, more efficient, or less risky to abandon the cantankerous Constitutional structure in favor of a more streamlined/centralized government, but in most cases the Framers struck the right balance.

Makes for a good conversation. Like I said, I doubt we're really in disagreement.

Of course this had me fired up. I flew helicopters for the USAREUR during the cold-war (BOSS21) … gave a lot of fighter guys their low level local O on the 11ACR border trace. Flew the corridor to Berlin and after the wall fell went on to purchase a big chunk of a Polish microelectronics firm. To say I’ve seen both sides is an understatement. What is striking is that we the USA have become more socialist (or feel free to use the C word) than most of Poland during the Russian occupation. AND HERE’s the news flash … ”How about caring for those less fortunate than yourself, trying to give everyone in society equal opportunities to achieve in life, making health and education available to all and giving all members of society equal rights. That is what socialism is.“ if you could actually achieve this ridiculously naïve utopia then there would be NO NEED for education because there’d be no incentive to achieve anything in life and every idiot would be as stupid as the next. Worst of all human nature would still exist and one idiot would prey upon the weaker idiot. A society without hierarchy is like a ladder with only one rung .. useless. That these pinko bastards can even espouse this dumb shit without vomiting themselves is incredibly amazing .. perhaps I can get some grant money to study these idiots in their natural habitat on capitol hill. Almost to year 30 and I'm ready to hang up my helmet and join the entitlement crowd that has taken over ... after all why create more jobs when I already have all the toys I need?

I thought this site was supposed to be about our brothers and sisters who are in military service.if i want to read about politics i can go to political sites dont ruin this site and start preaching political dogma we have enough gas bags out there already.

To Joe:

Last time I checked, we took an oath to protect and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. If you don't consider communism a threat to our Republic, then I'd say you are ignoring the facts.
